Advisory Council

The Advisory Council represents the many uses and values of the river corridor, including all three municipalities (City of Fruita, City of Grand Junction, Town of Palisade), Mesa County, state and federal agencies, private landowners, nonprofits, and local businesses. Open to all interested stakeholders, the Advisory Council meets quarterly to advise on GVRCI’s goals and objectives.

Participants of GVRCI, which includes members of the Core Team, the Advisory Council, and any subcommittees and working groups, adhere to defined Operating Principles and Protocols.
